Better Video Shoot Boyzone's groundbreaking video for Better, filmed on 29th October 2008, features Stephen with a boyfriend, played by actor Kenny Solomons. This is the first time a boyband has ever been so open about a member's sexuality. Here Come The Boys Boyzone recorded this one off music special for ITV1 on 19th October 2008, which will be broadcast on the channel on 30th November. Firing the One O'Clock Gun at Edinburgh Castle Boyzone were at Edinburgh Castle on 24th June 2008 to take part in a couple of interviews to promote their concert at the Castle in July. The Legends Ball Stephen and the rest of Boyzone attended The Legends Ball at Battersea Evolution in London on 8th May 2008. The ball was hosted by David Gest and featured a special performance by Whitney Houston. It was all in aid of The Caudwell Children charity, which helps special needs children across the UK, providing treatment, therapies, equipment and dying wish holidays.
